Postcards for Resignation

"Jeff Sessions met with Russian officials while advising Trump’s presidential campaign -- then lied to Congress about it. He must resign immediately. Together we can unite and send our collective message to Washington on Monday to demand the resignation of the Attorney General in order to protect the integrity of this integral branch of government.

Jeff Sessions cannot continue to lead the Department of Justice. One senior Trump official, (former) National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, already had to resign over secret communications with Russian officials. However the DOJ will oversee investigation of the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia -- and it can’t do that credibly under Sessions’ leadership. Recusal is not enough. the Attorney General RUNS the Department of Justice and he must resign in order to ensure a fair investigation and to preserve the integrity of our Justice System.

The American people deserve elected officials who serve the public interest. It’s troubling enough that Sessions held a private meeting with Russian officials while they meddled with our elections -- but lying to Congress and the American people about that fact is deeply disturbing, and requires a significant response.

Write to the White House, to the Department of Justice, to the Speaker of the House and to as many elected officials as you would like, to demand that we - The American People - have the honest and trustworthy Justice Department we deserve.

Remember postcards are best as they don't have to process through the same security screening that an envelope does.
