"Fifty-two years after the voting rights march in Selma, Congress has refused to restore the Voting Rights Act, while making it easier to get a gun in America than it is to vote. Voter fraud is a lie perpetuated by extremist. Voter suppression is real and rampant across the country. It's time to restore the Voting Rights Act! Join us for this timely town hall meeting featuring moral leaders from the media, religious, and legal community.
The town hall will be moderated by the Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II, president and senior lecturer of Repairers of the Breach. He will be joined by Attorney Penda Hair, legal director of Forward Justice; Mark Thompson, Sirus XM; and Senator Hank Sanders, the Selma Bridge Crossing Jubilee, Inc.
We hope you can join in-person or online via the Repairers of the Breach Livestream (www.breachrepairers.org/livestream)."
