"Details are emerging about Donald Trump's plan to ramp up military spending by $54 billion, while calling for massive cuts to the Environmental Protection Agency — as much as 25% — that would cut key programs that limit toxic pollution and save lives. He wants to cut the Environmental Education and Environmental Justice programs, stop efforts to address climate change, close the office of Public Engagement, and the list goes on.

These cuts would have huge impacts on families, especially in low-income communities and communities of color that already bear a disproportionate burden of environmental harm compared to more affluent communities.

Congress can and MUST stop Trump's extreme attacks on our environment. We cannot let him cripple the EPA, charged with protecting the health and safety of our communities.

We will gather at the office of Senators Corey Booker and Robert Menendez to stand up to this disastrous budget. We will urge them to...
