We are breaking U.S. records for female representation, yet women still account for less than 27% of elected officials in Congress, and just over 30% of State Executives and Legislators. At no level- federal, state, or local, does the United States hit the 1/3 mark for female representation.
How does this compare with other democratic nations around the globe? What are women around the world doing to change the imbalance of power in their governments?
Joining the Alice Paul Institute on March 23rd for a discussion about these topics and more, will be an incredible panel of women including
Dr. Gretchen Baur, Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Deleware,

and Dr. Jennifer Piscopo, Associate Professor of Politics at Occidental College.
