Congressman Chris Smith's Constituents have called, emailed,  and tweeted asking for a Town Hall. Chris Smith has been silent.  He has not held an official Town Hall in 27 years! 

Since Chris Smith will not hold a Town Hall, the People for Progress have planned a Town Hall and formally invited Chris Smith. Smith has been silent. 

Since it is likely the Congressman will again deny his constituents a Town Hall, People for Progress has invited inspirational local activists and speakers to address issues on pressing topicl activists including:  

  • Women's Reproductive Health - Mariel DiDato

  • Income Inequality - Sue Altman, Director, Working Families NJ

  • Environment - Anne Sherwood

  • Healthcare - Joan Farkas

  • LGBTQ Issues - Jennifer Fluharty
