LESSONS FROM THE CIVIL RIGHTS FIGHT - FEBRUARY 23rd, 2:00 TO 3:30 PM

How Martin Luther King, Jr. and participants in the fight for civil rights show that “love is greater than war and that lasting resolution can be found above every barrier. “

This Black History Month event will be led by Craig Uplinger, a teacher of United States History at Marlboro High School and a James Madison Fellow and member of the Phi Alpha Theta National Historical Honor Society.

The program includes songs by Jney and Mackenzie Uplinger, who have performed locally with the Phoenix and Premier Theatre companies.
