African-American Read-In Day By The Shore

The National African American Read-In is the nation’s first and oldest event dedicated to diversity in literature. This initiative has reached more than 6 million participants around the world.

On 4 Saturdays in February - Feb 2, 9, 16 and 23 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, , the Asbury Park Museum will host the African-American Read-In Day By The Shore .

 Texts written by African American authors will be shared; Participants either listen to or provide the readings;
