• ESL classes - an update on the ESL program at the "St Thomas Community Education Center" 
• Plazas Comunidades - program at the education center. Looking for a teacher. 
• Financial Aide Trainings and Clinics for undocumented students to apply for state aide to attend NJ colleges - an update
• Drivers License Initiative - postcards, September 6 NJ Alliance for Immigrant Justice Rally at State House in Trenton and August 19 Latino Fest at  Monmouth Park noon-8:30pm
• Mexican Consulate - need Spanish speaking volunteers and schedule created for October appt making - dual citizenship
• DIRE - meeting on Thursday, Aug 16 at Reformed Church of Highland Park, 19 S 2nd Avenue, Highland Park, NJ 08904  Topics to be discussed are growing their network, creating a structure and possibly have DIRE housed under a 501c3, etc. Our second meeting to be held second half of September dependent on Joel's schedule
• Fundraising effort with another RB group and Reverend Memba for RB woman with stage 4 metastatic cancer and 3 school age children
• Hope Walk - Sept 20 - organized by JBJ Soul Kitchen (?) - representation from GRBWI and our committee has been asked to walk
• Looking Back and Looking Forward - for September meeting
