A representative of Clean Ocean Action, and possibly others, will provide an update on a regional effort to clean up the Navesink River, which has high counts of coliform and other pollutants. The river is a popular fishing and boating area.
The presentation, part of BCC’s "Science Monday" environmental lectures hosted by BCC’s Environmental Club, is open to the general public, BCC students, the Monmouth County Sierra members, and other environmental organizations.
Food and refreshments will be served.
