Join the New Jersey Sierra Club, Surfrider Foundation: Jersey Shore Chapter and Clean Ocean Action in joining hands against fossil fuels and offshore drilling on May 19 in Bradley Beach!
- 11:00 AM - Meet under the Bradley Beach Third Ave. Gazebo at 11:00 AM - 19 Ocean Ave., Bradley Beach, NJ 07720.
- At 12:00 PM - form a line across the beach and join hands. This is one of hundreds of synchronized events globally to raise awareness about the dangers of dirty fuels and the need to speed the transition to available, affordable clean energy solutions.
- 12:30 PM - Immediately following the joining of hands, we invite all those who are willing and able, to join us for a paddle out. We will meet out at sea and join hands, to show our respect for the ocean and our opposition to any thing which may threaten it. Vessels of all shapes and sizes are welcome in the paddle out!
Bring signs and your friends and be sure to dress appropriately for the weather forecast! The event will be followed by a beach cleanup to help keep our beaches plastic free!
