Join us as we show local support and solidarity with The National Equality March for Unity and Pride in Washington DC.

Rain or Shine!

Meet at Ricalton Square, Maplewood, NJ (Maplewood Ave, across from the movie theater.) We will march towards Maplewood Townhall for the Equality Rally. Please bring signs to show support for the LGBTQ Community!

There will be a rally and pride flag raising. Speakers include Maplewood Mayor Vic Deluca, South Orange President Sheena Collum, Assemblywoman Mila Jasey, Robert Marchman (Chair of the South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race), youth from Columbia High School, and Jillian Weiss (Executive Director of t...he National Transgender Legal Defense Fund). The event is co-sponsored by Maplewood Township and South Orange Township.

For parking please park on Dunnell Road and around Memorial Park.

We encourage folks to head over to the West Orange Pride March and Picnic immediately after at West Orange Town Hall.

After their event, come back to Maplewood where St. James Gate will be hosting our after event, a Pride Night from 4pm - close at 167 Maplewood Ave, Maplewood, NJ"
