"Carimer Andujar is a DACA student at Rutgers. She has been in the United States since she was 4 years old. Her family is here, not in the Dominican Republic where she was born. She has been ordered to appear for a DEPORTATION interview with ICE. Carimer is an activist who has spoken out against Trump's immigration policies. There is no explanation for this meeting. Students and Faculty at Rutgers have organized a support rally for Carimer outside of the Federal building to try to protect Carimer from being deported. The New Jersey Resistance Movement needs to support our Dream Act Students. Please sign up and come out on May 9 at 8:30 A.M. and Protect Carimer. Carimer has so far received the support of Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.), Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Democratic Congressmen Frank Pallone (NJ-6) and Bill Pascrell (NJ-6). Will you come?"
