Bus Pickup and Drop-off Times/Locations:
Pick up: Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County 1475 W Front St, Lincroft, NJ 07738 at 5:00AM; Arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and get on the bus! (And please don't forget your signed waiver! See below.)
Drop off: Washington, DC (exact location to be determined): 9:00 AM
Transportation in DC: You might want to buy Metro tickets to get to and from the March. They can be ordered by mail at https://smartrip.wmata.com/Storefront, Smartrip with $8 of fare loaded. Allow at least 5 business days for delivery.
Pick up: Washington, DC (exact location to be determined): 5:00 PM;
Drop off: Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County 1475 W Front St, Lincroft, NJ 07738 around 9:00 PM
The bus will return to the pick-up locations in the late evening of April 29th. Times are subject to change but, no worries - it won’t be drastic!

All riders must travel round trip.
Riders must sign a standard waiver to participate and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will need to sign an additional waiver for the minor. We will contact the purchaser for passenger information to provide more specifics and general information about the People's Climate March as the march date approaches.
Sierra Club transportation starts and stops with the buses, though we can advise on public transportation. Passengers are responsible for getting to and from pick up and drop of points.

Who is my Bus Captain/s? Steve Knowlton is your local Bus Captain. He can be reached by e-mail at sknowlton2@verizon.net, land line 732-747-7011, or by cell on April 29 at 848-218-3618 (please take down his phone number if you need him the day of the March).
What happens when we arrive, where are we marching in D.C.? The final details and locations of the March are currently being finalized. Please check your e-mail reguarly for more information on whether or not additional metro ticket will be recommended or required.
Should I bring food, water, signs & noise makers with me? Yes! Bring anything you’ll need to make you feel comfortable, safe and ready to march with the masses! However, signs should be rolled for transport -- no metal or wooden sticks.
Is there a waiting list? We’re working on hiring as many buses as we can to accommodate everyone. If the tickets are sold out, email the bus captain at sknowlton2@verizon.net and toni.granato@sierraclub.org and we’ll put you on the waiting list.
Can I be a bus leader/captain too? Yes!! Email Toni Granato right away if you can volunteer to be a co-captain or bus leader toni.granato@sierraclub.org.
Can I invite my friends? Invite everyone you know! Non-Sierra Club members are highly encouraged to participate.
Do I need a hotel? No hotels are needed. The bus will take you home the evening of the March.
What type of scholarships are available?
If you are interested in attending the March, but would like to apply for a scholarship please Toni Granato at toni.granato@sierraclub.org with “PCM Ticket Scholarship” in the subject line who will send you the application. Please send back promptly for the volunteer committee to review. The deadline to apply is April 3rd, but applications will be reviewed in the order in which they're received. You will receive an e-mail on April 10th whether or not you have received the scholarship.
What is your cancellation policy if I purchase a ticket?
Tickets are submit to cancellation up to 15 days prior to the event. You MUST e-mail both Toni Granato and Paul Sanderson at toni.granato@sierraclub.org and paulmsanderson@aol.com with “PCM Ticket Cancellation” in the subject line to cancel your ticket. You will only be reimbursed the bus fee not the administrative fee. Your reimbursement will be sent by check."
