"The national security field is always adapting and reacting to current and emerging threats from within the United States and throughout the world. Personnel within the field need to have a resilience-based mindset to not only carry them through challenging times but, also adapt to changing operational needs. Dr. Barany has extensive knowledge of security and risk management, and is currently working with U.N. Women in Security Access Strategy in Fragile States. He focuses primarily on developing organizational strategy and response to expansion of operations into fragile states, humanitarian spaces and CVE/PVE programming.
