Shaun King, the New York Daily News Journalist and civil rights activist, will be speaking at Rutgers University in Camden at 8 p.m. on March 22 in the Gordon Theater. The event "An Evening with Shaun King" is sponsored by the Rutgers University-Camden Chancellor's Office and the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
King is the author of The Power of 100, he's a political commentator for the Tom Joyner Morning Show and is noted for his use of social media to promote religious, charitable, and social causes, including the Black Lives Matter movement.
Free guest parking will be available at the Camden Technology Center Parking Garage at 601 Cooper Street.
