Agenda: A Special Two-Part meeting:

Jeanne LoCicero, Deputy Legal Director of the ACLU-NJ will speak on civil liberty concerns in a Trump era presidency. Ms. LoCicero litigates, advocates, and speaks on a wide range of civil liberties issues, including freedom of speech and religion and the rights of LGBT people, youth, and prisoners. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association where she serves in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Rights Section and the Individual Rights Section. LoCicero began her legal career at the ACLU of Alabama after graduating with highest honors from Rutgers School of Law – Newark.

Julia Scotti- The first trans-gendered comedian to perform on "America's Got Talent"---Julia was named one of the Top Five Transgender Comedians in the country by Advocate Magazine,finalist in the New York Based Ladies of Laughter Competition, and was one of the winners of the Laughlin Laugh Festival in Nevada.

LeighAnn Lord -Smart, sexy, savvy, and funny, Leighann Lord’s “heads up humor” is stand-up comedy at its finest. Inspired by the brilliance of George Carlin, the smooth jazz style of Franklyn Ajaye, and the elegance of Rita Rudner, Leighann has crafted her own unique brand of Thinking Cap Comedy. It’s no wonder she received the NYC Black Comedy Award for “The Most Thought Provoking Black Female Comic.” 

Michael Hayne- Michael is a comedian/VO artist/impressionist extraordinaire who co-wrote an award-nominated film, contributed to NY Times Laugh Lines, guest blogged for Joe Biden, appeared in Nat Geo's Drugged: High on Marijuana (where apparently he battled herbal terrorists). He's written pretty much everywhere, including Alternet, Cagle Cartoons, NewJerseyNewsroom, and Huffington Post. 

Joe Messina -co-hosts the monthly political comedy show Party Lines at Good Good Comedy Theater with Max Barth, hosts the weekly podcast Breaking Up with Joe.
